RE

The 1988 Education Act confirms that Religious Education (RE) is a compulsory part of the curriculum. It is a statutory requirement that every Local Authority (LA) appoints a SACRE (Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education). The SACRE is supported by the Local Authority through Pennine Learning which acts as the Council's partner for this purpose.  We follow the RE syllabus for Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Leeds 2021-2024.
